Lead exposure may not be top of mind for many families, but it is still a real concern today. National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week is our chance to shine a spotlight on the issue, raise awareness about risks, and share simple steps that can help keep children safe.
Each year, the CDC, EPA, HUD, and partners across the country join together for National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (NLPPW). This year’s event takes place October 19–25, 2025, and we’re excited to be part of it here at the Nevada Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (NvCLPPP)!
Our 2025 Toolkit
To make it easy for you to help spread the word, we’ve created a free NLPPW social media toolkit in English and Spanish. Inside, you’ll find:
✨ Ready-to-post graphics (single images or carousels)
✨ Matching captions you can copy and paste
✨ Hashtags to join the national conversation (#NLPPW2025)
These posts are designed to share quick, actionable messages that help families and communities learn about lead exposure and how to prevent it.
More Free Resources
Looking for even more ways to spread the word? NvCLPPP offers free fact sheets, flyers, and other materials you can share with parents, schools, and community groups. Need printed copies? You can easily request them through our website.
